Is this a Google translation? It really is full of errors, as are the measures themselves.

Here it is in Spanish as written in Meganoticias. I am not fluent in Spanish yet, taking online lessons since the pandemic started. Perhaps you can tell me what the errors are.

Thank you for sharing!
If I may, some clarifications on your translation. I know how hard it is when you are learning a new language and I appreciate your effort and good will!
1. Mandatory use of facemasks in open and enclosed spaces.
8. (this is a hard one) "all you can drink/open bar" is suspended.
10. Movie theaters have to schedule their last show to end by 23:00

Again, thanks for the heads up and for sharing this with the board.

Take care,

Re #7: Bars in enclosed areas. Who decides if a bar is in an open or closed area? Most bars in Zihua are open to the outside to some degree or other. What about places like Coconuts, Eloina's, Legendz, Playa Bar?

Just try using common sense and you'll be in the ballpark. This is not rocket science. Most local downtown residents are fine with the bar regulations. Same with the curfew (aka restricted traffic).

I'm asking about regulations, not what is, or is not common sense. If many, or most of the places we regularly frequent are closed, we would have to weigh that information in our decision to visit or not. Common sense, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. Many would say that common sense would suggest waiting until the 21/22 season.

I don't need a bar to enjoy myself anywhere. We apparently are very different in that respect, amigo. All the places you named have outdoor seating and are considered open-air by me. No idea what the "responsible authorities" will consider closed or open-air, but I'm sure the bar owners can figure it out.

Wait if you want and hope something else doesn't come along to hinder your plans. Or take the advice of Janis...

New health safety measures....

by Wonderful Wino, Tuesday, November 10, 2020, 07:43 (23 days ago) @ BL

Thank you for understanding. I appreciate it. I was able to figure out that "water covers" referred to face masks and "free bars" referred to stand alone bars that did not serve food. And "enclosed area bars and clubs" would be places like Jaguar Club and Kisses. Although I understand that Kisses has tried to get around that by erecting an open sided tent in back. Apparently there were some on this board who couldn't figure those things out. As far as the measures and time of day, that was Meganoticias. If those figures were wrong, blame should go to them, not me. I was just the messenger. Buen dia, stay healthy.
