Mercado Municipal, Los Cocos y Mega - COVID Restrictions?

Hola. I'm curious what, if any restrictions, are in place for shopping these days. My husband and I are still planning to spend a few weeks in the area for the holidays, and plan to cook 'at home' more than usual. We're more than happy to support open and safe restaurants, but are also trying to determine what our trip will realistically look like this year.

  • Is the Municipal Mercado open?
  • What about the vendors and/or shops on Calle Los Cocos?
  • I imagine Mega is fully open, but with capacity restrictions? All of this is pure assumption, so I thought I'd pose the question to the site.

Muchisimas gracias.

Everything is open.
Masks, social distancing, sanitizer, hand washing stations outside the mercado entrances. Mega Soriana as of this week has one door for entering one for exiting. Sam's Club requires each person to have a card in hand.

The world is open, those businesses and restaurants that have survived so far.

Mega, Sam's Club, Intercam, Coppel all take your temp, give you a shot of hand sanitizer and require a mask. The only place I've had to wait outside because of capacity restrictions was TelCel and Radio Shack.
