Can Basmati and Jasmine rice be found in Zihua?

We are counting down the Days to our arrival in Zihua, with 35 days to go!!
We have an Apartment with a good Kitchen and have done most of our cooking at home.
This year we have vowed to eat out more often and try more new places during our 4 month stay.
We will still be cooking at home and wondered if anybody has seen Basmati or Jasmine rices for sale in Zihua?

You can find Basmati at Mega Soriana, in the foreign products aisle. Didn’t check for Jasmine.

Brace yourself before going into the imported foods aisles at Soriana. I was in there today. A 220 gm bag of Lays “slightly salted” potato chips was M$139. (US$6.75; C$8.36)

Just like in your "home" country, it pays to shop! The best balsamic vinegar at Soriana, none at Bodega Aurerra, is in the import section, and it is way cheaper than the stuff on the domestic row!!!!

Just pay attention as you would in your home location.

We live here and very occasionally want an imported item, and with exploration, which is fun, can often find exactly what we think we want at a great price.

Nobody in their right mind would buy Lay's Chips in Mexico where we have delicious Barcel CHIP'S made with sea salt.
