No change from yesterday's Covid-19 report. Zihuatanejo continues with 6 currently active cases. In the entire state of Guerrero there are only 182 active cases. Young people between 12 and 17 years of age are encouraged to register online with the government for their upcoming vaccinations, beginning with children in high risk categories.

The Senado de la República is expected to take up the regularization of the use of cannabis for recreational and medicinal purposes withing the next few weeks. This could be a boon for tourism and for the economy in general here in Guerrero.

Storm clouds passed close by our coast this morning but we received no rain in downtown Zihuatanejo. This evening we were again surrounded by storm clouds but no rain (so far). Very picturesque, but some rain would be nice.

We've got some truly loving lodgings awaiting your arrival.

I love how sunsets make the clouds on the opposite side turn pink and red. Thanks for the foto!

It's my privilege to be able to share this with you and everyone. :bump:

It sure looked like we might get some rain. Big storm clouds all around, then nothing happened. Oh well. But yes, the thunderheads sure made for a spectacular light show.

My bad. The Covid-19 report still hadn't been posted by 9:30 last night so I went by the state government's daily report which was apparently from the day before, quite unusual they would do that, but a new administration so I'll cut them some slack.

As of yesterday evening Zihuatanejo registered 10 currently active cases of Covid-19, not 6 as I reported.
