Nope. No flooding. No alert here. We may see some minor currents in our bay but the water is only expected to fluctuate a few centimeters above normal. Hardly noticeable.

The water went in and out of the lagoon at Las Salinas similar to but less extreme than it did back in 2011.

On Playa Blanca, water is left in low spots of the beach that has amazingly come back. So something different was going on yesterday.

On Playa Blanca, water is left in low spots of the beach that has amazingly come back. So something different was going on yesterday.

Most of the local beaches are enjoying a time of replenishment with tides that seem extremely low, a phenomenon we usually see annually on our journey around the sun.
