Still no active cases of Covid-19 along the entire Costa Grande of Guerrero.

It's a madhouse at the pier. The most crowded it's ever been. Around 1,500 participants on over 350 vessels (the exact count seems to depend on whom you ask). Good to see the restaurants and shops doing business. A shame to see so many fish not being released. Kudos to the fishermen who are participating in the catch & release event of the tournament.

It looks like the weather may be setting up for some rain next week. Let's hope it's not a deluge. Just in time. The hills are extremely brown, the rivers are dry and the woods are a tinderbox.

See my recommendations for comfortable and reliable lodgings. Friends with rentals say they already have much of next season reserved. Don't wait too long to make your reservations. Looks like it's going to be a busy season as the world returns to normal after the pandemia. Here are a few suggestions for B&Bs.

The mar de fondo brought relatively large swells into Zihuatanejo Bay while some folks enjoy a refreshing morning walk at sunrise.
