Still no active cases of Covid-19 along the entire Costa Grande de Guerrero (only 14 in Acapulco).

We said our farewells to our beloved friend Joe Wells who passed away Friday. Joe would've loved to have seen all the people who turned out to bid him adios. A reminder to appreciate the time we have and to take good care of ourselves.

This weekend was a busy one in our region. Lots of visitors took advantage of our perfect weather to enjoy our beaches. A damn shame that the lancheros who service Isla Ixtapa apparently abandoned over 100 passengers at the end of the day. Much thanks to the owner of the restaurante "El Indio" who came to their rescue. Someone needs to be fined or lose their license.

The mar de fondo seems to have passed for the most part. It had been predicted to last until Saturday but was still present this Sunday morning. But by late Sunday afternoon the ocean appeared to have calmed back down and swimmers were enjoying themselves.

Now's an excellent time to eat fresh fillet of fish at one of our local restaurants.

¡Cuidemos nuestro patrimonio!

A typical late Sunday afternoon on Playa Principal.
