Are these types of waves typical in Zihua? If so, I am surprised it is not considered a surfer's Mecca.
Warning that should be placed on all surfboards: "If you don't surf, don't start!"

Not just in Zihuatanejo but in our region of the Costa Grande from Saladitas to Papanoa there are numerous surfing destinations.
