Cooler in Zihua?

37 - 39C today in the Okanagan (98.6 - 102.2F). Should we come down to Zihua to cool off? The humidity here is between 15 - 20%. I guess we'll tough it out.

It's definitely cooler here, but the humidity is considerably higher. Great for my skin, don't know about yours. ;-)

We agree. This is only our 4th summer, but we have a weather station and the temps, at least so far, are down.

It's all an adventure and it's just wonderful!

What kind of weather station do you have? Mine's an Ambient Weather. Installed it in February and it looks like the salt air has already eaten the barometric pressure sensor. So I got about 6 months out of it in this environment. I'll wait for a few other things to quit before I replace it.

You bought the Gobi Desert model. Next time, watch for when the Diego Garcia model goes on sale.

We went through two Oregon Scientific units on the beach in Southern California, and they didn't hold up.

Our paddle buddy has had a unit like ours at both her beach house in Maine and on the beach in Southern California and they have both held up well. Ours here is now 5 years old. It's a Davis Vantage Vue and we are thrilled with it. It also includes free online posting if you buy their add on device.

Our station, near the Dolphins on Playa la Ropa can be monitored by going to Weatherlink.com, doing the free sign up and following us at Casa 4 Vientos.
