Chez Leo is a great little restaurant. I have meant to post about it several times but my brain has been so busy on other things.

They have a good variety of items on their menu. My favorite is their cordon bleu, but they have salads, seafood, pastas, etc.
Some specifics are:
Escargots 70 Pesos
pastas 55 "
Sashimi 70 "
Cajun tuna carpaccio 70
Cordon Bleu 95
Linguinni mejillones y camarones 110
Camaronnes Brandy 155
cordornicez (quail) 120
salad 40
sopa de lenteja 40
filete de pescado (three styles) 115 each
We have eaten the salad, cordon bleu, filette de pescado al eneldo, one of the pastas, and pechuga de pollo Yucatan and found them all to be of great quality. The only problem is I forget about going there very often.
Put this restaurant on your list for next year.

Leo also is the chef at La Bocana on La Ropa. We think that this is a great place also and the owner posted that they will be opening for dinner.

I believe that Leo has turned over the small restaurant to one of his relatives. I do not know if it is a nephew, son, etc.

yes, it is next door to Angelo´s. In addition to the items Carol mentioned he has delicious pork chops, and filet mignons for very moderate prices.

No. it isn't. The one on the hill is a shack. At least it used to be.

Chez Leo is on Galiana street (a walking only street) between Ejido street and Nicolas Bravo. It is right next door to Angelo´s.

Chez Leo, at least when we left in late April, was being operated by Lalo, Leo's nephew.
We first discovered Chez Leo when he and wife Sandra first opened over beside the DHL Courier office. When he moved over to the tourist side of town a couple of years ago, the menu thankfully stayed relatively unchanged. Try the Yucatan shrimp or chicken. Delicious.

Thanks, I could not think of his name but knew he was a relative. Good menu, good food, and good prices.
