This song always makes me think of Zihuatanejo. I arrived there in 2001 quite by accident. I fell in love, walking down the street...

Like the sounds curly reminds me of having a margarita , feet in the sand , watching the sunset over the Zihua bay ... That's it I'm putting my sunglasses on cranking the heat and going to make my famous agave nectar margarita and dream of Zihua

Love that song too. We were in Tamales Atole's and three troubadors who were granfather,father and son came by and I asked them to sing Zihuatenejo, they asked the waiter which tells me they do not sing there regularly. The youngs mans voice was hauntly beutiful and is one of my favorite memories.

I guess that's why I like Zihua so much. Similar to that, my wife and I were dining at Rufo's one night and a couple of young musicians stopped in front and played a few songs, then just kept going, probably downtown. SOme of the most beuatiful music I've ever heard.
