It is the top picture. Click the arrow at the top right corner. Then click, grab/hold, and move the screen to the left to get the 360 degree effect.

Well, I do get one photo of maybe 5 people on the Playa but certainly nothing of "hordes" of Mexican tourists which is what I expected to see.

You need to move the photo right or left. There is also a button to enlarge it to full screen in the upper right-hand corner of the photo. You can also zoom in on any part of the image. It's not rocket science, amigo, but you do have to interact with the image to get the effect.
