I was in Guanuato(up coast from P.Vallarta) at a Decameron Resort last Feb. and saw easily 100 sea snakes close to beach .Snakes were always seen just at dusk and were rolling in balls or jumping along the surf line. Later I found out they were breeding! No one from Regent tours would acknowledge that there were any there and refused to go and look. I am a scuba diver who then researched this and found the snakes to be legit. The local people concurred with me and agreed that there were snakes but "They never had hust anyone." I have also seen one snake at a club Med at Playa Blanca, again,on the west coast of Mexico. So, now we know and just have to avoid them I guess. Knowing there is no antidote is cause for thought. Perhaps Feb. is mating season on that coast.
