"The man" sells in two-litre bottles. The first time I bought from him, I was pretty reluctant. Rob kept assuring me that this was a good product. I was not to be convinced.
Finally, to humour Rob, I agreed to purchase one litre... but the man only sells by two litre bottles. So I had to convince another fellow to buy the other litre. Then I had to go buy a litre bottle of water and drink it (with some help) in order to free up the litre bottle. (Yes, I tend toward not wasting.)
Having gone through all of that I tasted the product and I wished I had bought two litres.
Mezcal is an alcoholic beveridge so it is subject to declaration when crossing a border. I declared it as one litre of mezcal when crossing at Nogales and had no problem.
I can't recall the price, but it was good value.
