We just got back from Ixtapa, Feb. 9th-15th, stayed at the Doubletree. Our first trip to Ixtapa and are definately going to return next year for 10 days. We had a very good experience, no complaints. The only thing was that the room smelled musty the first day, but I guess that is the Humidity. We ate at Soleaido across the street from the Doulbletree, great breakfast. JJ's Lobster was a little dissapointing. Da boffone next to Mamma Noema was fantastic, the owner is Italian. We went to the Marina, but while having a drink, decicing where to eat, we were eaten alive by mosquitos. Rossi's in Zihuatanejo was a great place to watch the sunset and we had red snapper there that was excellent. We ate at Bogarts on Valentines Day, definately worth it, very romantic with the piano player and ambiance. The weather was beautiful, gorgeous everyday. Everyone was nice and they kept the city (Ixtapa) really clean. This message board was a tremendous help, feel free to email me if you have any questions.
