Just returned from 4 nights at the Westin
Las Brisas. We definitely enjoyed our stay there
and would like to pass on a few comments:

The rooms were well appointed, serviced twice
daily.

Incredibly helpful staff

Their beach is very scenic, and essentially
private due to difficult access (all beaches
are federal property in Mexico??)

Our room had no unpleasant odor of any kind, this
was mentioned in a previous post. It's bull.
There is a musty smell in hallways etc, but it is
a semi-typical humidity thing that I almost
always encounter in similar hotels.

We ordered a bottle of wine on two occasions, and
served by room service. Well done and timely.

We never ate there, or in Ixtapa for that matter,
too many excellent places to eat in Zihua.

The balconies of a standard room have a table,
2 chairs, 1 chaise, and 1 hammock (and three
Hibiscus plants). Excellent views.

All in all, they get an excellent rating from me,
but consider that it was just a nice place to
stay for us, it wasn't our destination (Zihua was)
so I can't comment on eating or drinking there.
