After retiring from the famous diving team of Captain Jacques Yves Cousteau, Owen Lee settled in Zihuatanejo, Mexico in 1968 to open a Nature Study Center. His objecive was to promote Capt. Cousteau's ideas about living in harmony with Nature's Ecosystem. After being picketed, jailed, shot at, taken for a ride and finally deported, he ultimately prevailed. His newest book, "A Prisoner in Paradise," tells the entire story in 288 pages with 30 photographs. The book is a delightful mix of humor, philosophy and true adventure by Zihuatanejo's oldest living expatriate. It is available locally in papaerback at $17 USD or via Email at $14.
