Dr Melchezidic (sp?)(doesn't speak English) a trauma doctor is good with broken bones. (He's near the Bodega), Olivia Montufar (sp?)(does speak English) is also good.

You will find the doctors at the IMSS hospital good. If you have the IMSS insurance you can pick up your meds at the hospital at the same time you get treatment. If you have an FM3 you can get this insurance, it's inexpensive (< $200 U.S. per year if under 60+-) and a good back-up to your International insurance if you are living in Zihua. Yes things are not as clean and a little rumpled, and you will have to wait your turn, but the doctors do know what they are doing. You might have to go as far as Uruapan if you need something like a hip replacement or Acapulco or Mexico City with the insurance you get trip fare for a second person to accompany you.
And, of course, there is also Dr. Grayeb (does speak English).
Also the Military Hospital Behind the crafts market in Ixtapa is good.
