We stayed there for a week in March / April. Only about 10 rooms in the hotel. Initially we were in a 1 bedroom - the rooms are fairly small, there is a separate bedroom and a eating area/living room. The balcony is also small (only room for two chairs)and you have to kind of stretch to get a view of the beach. We were also in a 2 bedroom - very spacious, good sized rooms, two bedrooms (obviously) two bathrooms, kitchen / eating area and living room. Good sized balcony with a great view of Madera. Worth the extra money.
We looked at the penthouse suite - it is a one bedroom on top of the building and it looked fabulous.
We did not look at the rooms in the older section.
The pool is small but when we were there there were only two other rooms rented so it was never crowded. That all changed on Easter weekend. A pool that "comfortably" held four adults had as many adults and about 12 kids! Quite an experience.
The small patio area at the front of the building overlooking Madera is a great place to stretch out.
Esteban and the staff (especially our housekeeping staff Fide) were very helpful and exceptionally friendly. We had some interesting conversations with our limited Spanish and their limited English.
We really enjoyed our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
