We went there 2 years ago (mid-Feb '03) for a margarita at sunset (my daily ritual while in Z) - we were the only ones there.

The casa is situated on top of a hill. The positive of this is that the views are spectacular. The negative is that you'll be doing a lot of climbing so you better be physically fit or else it will be a problem.

The landscaping is incredible. The horizon pool, though small, was exquisite. It is somewhat centrally located; once on the main road you're in easy walking distance of Playa la Ropa, Playa la Madera, and Centro. Restaurants like Il Mare & Puerta del Sol are a stones throw away.

The property manager showed us some of the rooms while we were there. They were nice. Were they worth the nightly rate?? I don't know.

ps - the margarita was great but it was the most expensive one we had while in Z!!!
