Go to the main combi site across the street from Electra and find a combi that has "La Union" painted on the windshield. It can have other places painted on it too, like Pantla, Buenavista, Salitrera, but if it doesn't have La Union, it won't take you far enough.

You may be able to spot such a bus elsewhere and flag it down, but this is your easiest locat1on to be sure you will find one.

Watch the markers at the side of the road. When you go through the village of Buenavista, tell the driver you want off at Troncones.

You will get off at the turnoff for Troncones. There will be a stand there where you can buy something chilled to drink while you wait for the combi in to Troncones. It runs fairly frequently, so you probably won't have more than 30 minutes to wait.

The combi will take you at least to "downtown" Troncones. You may have the option of staying on to go north to Playa Manzanillo and the village of La Majahua.

The total fares should be something like N$25-35/person.

If you decide to taxi it, you are looking at about N$250 each way.

Figure about 30-40 minutes by taxi, depending on where you are going in Troncones. Figure double that for combi, plus 0-30 minutes waiting for the Highway 200 to Troncones connection.
