I kinda shot my wad staying at the Mansion del Cuptitize (SP?) right at the upper park entrance, in fact you can walk out the back gate & be in the park. It is lovely, but a bit expensive. A single was 1,145 pesos or about 102 USD. Nice grounds, pool & service. Rooms are nice. but not really 5 star. More like maybe 31/2 or 4. A real plus is across the street & overlooking a waterfall is the Cafe El Trouta, which serves fresh trout that they kill & clean when you order for 70 pesos. They gave me enough gucamole for three people, 5 other sauces including Pico de Pollo, chips, bread & rice. Refrescas 15 pesos & cafe 10. Best meal I have had on the trip!
