First impression was beautiful. Stayed at the KRYSTAL 8/20-8/25. Good view of pool and beach looking south. A/C barely worked in one of the rooms. HIGHLY recommend BOGARTS for dinner. First two days quiet and empty, just we expected. Then a convention came to our hotel and ruined our vacation. The staffed at the KRYSTAL could have cared less about us. The poolbar, for adults only, was constantly packed with 5-8 year old kids. On two nights the convention ended up having dinner in the lobhy. Ixtapa Isle was fun but not the color or quantity of marine life I was expecting. Horseback riding on Playa Larga was a joke. The beach was covered with plastic bottles and dead fish. When you take a taxi get a price first. one driver actually wanted to vcharge extra for turning on his Air Conditioning. The trip was not a total sucess. Our hotel lobby smelled like an armpit by Friday. The airport had no A/C but was clean. Would I return NEVER. For those of you going good luck. The Barcelo looked like a nicer place
