Maybe the person who said the pools were worthless was looking for a pool with a swim up bar. The Irma doesn't have one.
Both pools are small and fairly shallow but work great for cooling off and are perfect size for children. There are three beaches within a ten minute walk that all allow you to swim in the largest body of water in the world. I don't think your vacation will be ruined by the small pools at the Irma.
My wife, Brother-in-law and I arrive at the Irma on January 8th for our ninth time and we hope to continue this annual vacation for years to come.
Hope to see you week after next.
