Roger - my husband and I spent part of our honeymoon at Villa Carolina, and we loved it. Beautiful pool, only 6 units, full maid service, easy access to the beach. No restaurant but they do have room service. Each unit has a full kitchen with bottled water. Very private, enclosed. The staff is non-intrusive but helpful.The 2 units on the second floor each have a small pool, don't know if it's a jacuzzi. We'd stay there again in a heartbeat! Didn't get a look at La Quinta Troppo but it looks nice too. I don't think all their rooms have a/c, but I would think you would want it in July.
