You may want to consider Vepao, right next door to Las Urracas. We just got back 2 days ago from a 10 day visit and were very happy with it. The only complaint was that (like Las Urracas) the kitchens are not well-equipped. However, we made do with what there was and prepared all our breakfasts and many of our lunches there. The locat1on, right on La Ropa, is perfect. There are many repeat guests there as well but there were vacancies when we left on the 13th. I had no trouble reserving a room last November by emailing the address on the web page. Veronica Ramirez, who is running the business, is a lovely young woman who speaks fluent English. The rooms are equipped with 5 speed ceiling fans as well as free-standing ocillating fans, which we found more than adequate.
