We have stayed at Casa Tucanes four times now, and we will be returning again later this year!

We have had family from the ages of 2.5 to 65 staying with us in the Villa, and all of us enjoyed the leisurly walk down the street to the south end of La Ropa beach...it is a level walk, and depending on your age and mobility, in the heat, it takes a few minutes or more, though we have not found it difficult. Couldn't even tell you how far it is, we find the walk itself part of the wonderful experience of Z. Now that they have a goegeous pool on the premises, some days we don't even make it to the beach...

The top level of the Villa is lovely for a couple, and has a roof top patio overlooking the coconut palms. The first and second levels have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The decor is bright and beautiful. All units have a kitchenette with reasonable supplies. The Bungalows are older, and are two bedroom one bathroom, with kitchenette. No a/c (ceiling fans only) and no tv/phone, though we don't miss any of those things while we're there.

Hope that gets some of your questions answered...wishing you a lovely trip to paradise!
