Hi,
I've never stayed there, but I've read the happy reviews from lots of people who have.

I don't recall anyone saying anything negative about the Catalina.

The only two things I've heard even remotely negative are that there are a lot of stairs involved climbing back up from the beach (but that's why the place has such great views). And there is no a/c. But again, it sits up high so it usually gets a good breeze.

I walked around the property a few months ago and it looked very well-maintained. The place felt great too. Not some cookie-cutter resort, but an authentic place with a history.

I'd stay there in a minute, but I prefer to be on Madera.

Travis
