I'm really sorry to hear about your experience there. I hope that you filed a report of the robbery with the proper authorities. That is very important. For some reason that neighborhood seems to have a perennial problem with burglaries (as do others in tourist areas), but since most go unreported it allows the problem to go on and on.
I personally caught two robbers when I lived in that neighborhood years ago, and you can bet they were taken away by the police.
Thank goodness for your positive attitude and good spirits. And thanks for letting everyone else know about these types of problems. They happen, and it is never fun for the visitor. Fortunately such incidents are not the norm or we'd all be out of business.
