Hi Blanche,
You missed quite a delightful evening! Villa de la Roca is not a restaurant as you have been led to believe. It's a small, intimate inn that sits next to Casa Que Canta. (5 guestrooms). They serve dinner on the patio which has sweeping views of the bay and a little better view than CQC(you look down on CQC). We stayed there last New Years for 8 nights. (It's a white home that hangs on the cliff, closest to Playa La Ropa.) The views are unbelievable as is the food. You would have enjoyed cocktails before dinner, several unbelievable courses and your choice of a bottle of wine during your meal. Dessert and coffee is also included. It's not a restaurant, it's a gorgeous place with exquisite food. They charge a flat fee, which includes all I mentioned and they accept reservations when they have a table free...only a few tables primary for the guests staying there. So if other call, you can inquire if the have a table and what the main course will be. Yes, it's a little unconventional but isn't that what makes vacations fun?? Trying something new! Happy New Year from a former New Yorker
