We stay at the Las Brisas every year and it's great! Private beach, 4 pools, huge balcony. We love to walk through the tropical gardens every morning and bird watch! The beach is private (no pesky vendors), play volley ball or soccer or just plop on a lounge chair under a palapa and be waited on! The beach staff is very friendly and will remember you next year. I say next year cuz you will be back after one stay. We do not do all-inclusive. Food is great but we alo like to go into town and Zihua to eat. Taxi service is on the grounds at the hotel, 25 pesos into town; 40 pesos to Zihua.
We brought a friend with us last year and he said it's better than he ever expected! Be sure to go to the lobby bar at happy hour. Las Brisas is famous for the sunset view since the hotel sits at the top of the mountain. Raymundo and Cilio at lobby bar will make you feel like old friends. We just returned and can't wait to go back! Tell Raymundo we said hi from Linda & Billy(wearing a cowboy hat). My husband wears his "sunblock 100" everywhere!
The food is great at Las Brisas but be sure to go to Zihua for some good eats, great people and fishing too! Have fun!
