Yes, it is. As you can see, the eastern edge of town was Vicente Guerrero and the western edge was Cinco de Mayo. There was a beautiful lagoon that started right next to the school and what is now the museum, and it went all the way up to where the bridge is at Plaza Kioto.
I used to enjoy sitting on top of the hill at La Madera and just watching all the palm trees sway together in the breeze below me. Very darn few of those palms trees are left today, and the once beautiful lagoon is now an ugly canal.
