Well.... I dare suggest that 'the lot' of a majority of Cuba's people is distinctively elevated from the days of (The Butcher) Bautista..... in terms of wider-spread national educational opportunity in the inner cities AND campos, as well as fortified with an intrinsic 'resolve' unleashed in The Soul by Fidel's (et al) aged priorities.
But, if it is indeed true that "Life Mimics Art", then Cuba (from our brief but insightful encounter) is WELL on its way to eventually 'digging-out' of its economic mismanagement, and productively putting its wealth of national resource into a new generation (and new mandate) of capable hands.....
