We've been visiting Mexico for the past 5 years and picked up things here and there (aqui y alli), but I couldn't even come close to having a real time conversation with anyone fluent in the language. Structured classes are too slow for me and not constant. I've been through a set of the Pimsleur Spanish 1 audio lessons, which actually worked really great for me, and most products reasonably priced. I would listen to them in my car everyday. It was constant reinforcement. However, it doesn't help learning to read or write the language. I need both visual and audio. Any suggestions? and living in Mexico for an extended period of time is not an option, albeit I would like it to be:)
