Maybe you've been to Barra or maybe not Mike, I dont know. But large groups riding on this beach isn't like riding on trails that are built for it and marked as such. It's a very popular afternoon outing for Mexicans from many towns. They bring their children, play board games in the enramadas, have thier lunch and snacks all day long. The children play on the beach right from the arrival. Gringos and tourists do the same and of course there are the residents. It's the ultimate picnic! Even if they cut off on Blanca and take to the roads to avoid BDP this doesn't make it any safer. The village is carefree to traffic as it should be. It just isn't the place for ATV'ing.

There's nothing wrong with recreation you enjoy, it just needs to be had appropriatly.
