Why do you think the artisan market folks seem to do well - locat1on? In a sense it's a mall.

If each cruise ship passenger spends $70, and I imagine that was just a guess, and 1500 people head ashore per cruise ship, they spend just over $100K US per ship. There are 10 ships scheduled for October, more than a million dollars to be spent. Maybe that isn't a lot when divided by the number of shops. Maybe that's just the economy saying Zihua has developed too much and needs to move back a little to that sleepy old fishing town everyone seems to long for.
