Click on the link to see a diagram I just saw for the supposedly "approved and authorized" new cruise ship pier. We're getting better copies made of the original diagram, but this photo will do for now.

schematic diagram of approved and authorized new cruise ship pier for Zihuatanejo (459 KB)

Here is the contact information for anyone interested in expressing their feelings to local, state and federal officials regarding the project proposed by the Director de Puertos of the Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) to build a new cruise ship pier extending into the middle of Zihuatanejo's bay.

Please remember to send me a copy of your letter at zihuarob @ zihuatanejo.net (remove the spaces).

Spanish is obviously our preferred language but don't be shy about writing in English. In English please try to use simple language without idiomatic expressions or split (2-word) verbs. Please be courteous and check your spelling so we all look good and so translations are easier. ;~)

Remember, this is about NO PIER IN THE BAY, not NO CRUISE SHIPS IN THE BAY.

¡MIL GRACIAS A TODOS Y A TODAS USTEDES!
