En respuesta a: Old Photo of Road to La Ropa escrito por Craig Scheiner desde 76.103.200.224 (c-76-103-200-224.hsd1.ca.comcast.net) el día viernes, 22 de febrero, 2008 a las 23:44:20 horas :

The First year ( (1951-52) I went to Zihuatanejo, there was no small bridge
across the creek. There were large flat rocks to walk across. Some of the
women had trouble with the rocks, so they took off their shoes, and wadded
across. There was a place to buy soft drinks by the crick. The entire area was surounded by palm trees. A bit further was a path down to La Madera.
Many times we walked down the path, but never saw anyone swimming. There were usually horses down on the beach.
I only remember one house (but then I'm getting OLD) on the rocks above Madera, which owned by a doctor. I don't know if he lived there year-round or had it for his vacation home. CriCri
