Why we love the, "Villa Mexicana"

It is on beautiful, La Ropa beach. Plus, 9 out of 10 people staying there are repeat customers and we have made great friends. It is only 2 stories high, no long trek to the beach.

Yes, the hotel is a no-thrills kind of place....
it's strictly....locat1on, locat1on,locat1on!!!!
No fridge and no coffee pots. We bought a cooler and kept drinks and fruit that way.

The Villa Mexicana is clean, big balcony's on the top floor, fresh towels and sheets daily, cute animals or baskets made out of towels on your bed everyday, bottled water put in your room. They don't guarantee the type of room you get, but you can request it when you get there. They also move people to the room they would like if it comes open. We asked for a king size bed with ocean view and received it. The "garden" rooms may get noisy because the kiddy pools are back there and so are the kids! Try to get top floor (one flight) with ocean view. The rooms on the bottom floor also have a large terrace with chairs. The hotel has free coffee in their restaurant from 7am-8am.

The hotel pool faces the bay. It is 5 feet deep at
the deepest point, clean, and just the right temp.
Getting taxi's are no problem and they do wake up calls if you are wanting to take a fishing trip.

Well that gives you an idea !!

Have fun!
