BEAUTIFUL Hacienda!! We live part-time here in San Miguel, and while I have driven many times from Dolores to San Felipe (GREAT carnitas in San Felipe!), I have never noticed that such a wonderful option is within an hour from my home....... So thanks = GREAT reference!!
And yes, the vaulted brick ceilings pictured there are both enticing, and quite tradition (for large open spans).... Our dining room and all bedrooms here in SMA have the "4-cornered type", merging into central ceiling, stained-glass raised cupolas, knowm as "Bovoda" ceilings....
In fact (saddly) there are only a hand full of families LEFT in the entire area who actually "know" HOW to corbel that brick successfully into structurally-SOUND ceilings.... Like so many traditions here in MX, said "professionals' are a dying breed.......
