Acapulco to Zihuatanejo Bus, help please

Due to a crisis (not ours) friends have to bus back from Acapulco to Zihuatanejo on Sunday and leave Monday. They have minimal Spanish.

Anyone know which bus line is easiest and nicest? We suggested just going to the Central de Autobuses and finding the nicest counter, asking for Zihuatanejo, and hoping they would point to the correct counter.

Life would be easier for the married last week/parent crisis couple if someone knows. Thanks!

If I recall correctly I did this trip on the Estrella Blanca bus line.

I have taken this trip back and forth on Estrella De Oro and found it to be very easy and comfortable. Should be around 250 pesos one way.

There should be several detailed accounts of exactly what you’re seeking in the old and new archived messages. Both search engines should be able to find them. The trip is basically the same now as it was 20 years ago. Nothing of substance has changed.

I just forwarded this to them in hopes that it will fill their needs.

We take the bus to Acapulco and back home once a month for cancer treatments. We take the Costa Line out of Central Autobus here in Zihua. Comfortable bus.
