Zih Paradise Again

While some parts of Mexico are having an old fashioned gasoline shortage, not so here on the Costa Grande. We’ve got the best weather, the best food, the best beaches, the best people to enjoy being around, and plenty of fuel. Fortunately for many of us everything we need and enjoy is within easy walking distance.

Last night while Lupita and I were enjoying an evening on the pier where lots of families were also relaxing and enjoying themselves, we saw some thoughtless people lighting globos de cantoya near the mouth of La Boquita canal. Oblivious or uncaring to the damage they can cause and that they are illegal here. We notified a friend at the Bomberos and after watching 2 or 3 more sail aloft we noticed that when they lit two more they didn’t release them, so I’m guessing the police showed up and put and end to their dangerous activity that endangered the lives and property of others.

Another lovely and tranquil morning on Zihuatanejo Bay. This is the life!
