I stayed at the south end of La Ropa in mid-November and was pleasantly surprised at how few mosquitos there seemed to be, so near to the estuary at El Manglar. I came home with 5 or so bites, a record LOW for me, and used only about 1/4 of my planned allotment of repellent wipes.
