The owner has worked at Kadi Sushi for several years and now has her own restaurant.

Does anyone know of a sushi place in Zihua or Ixtapa that serves more local, raw fish, like sashimi or nigiri? Not looking for salmon flown in... if the fish here is good enough for ceviche and tiradito and aguachile, it is good enough for sashimi, but most of the sushi restaurants seem to focus on cooked rolls.

Agreed! The restaurant, Kadi, is relatively new but very creative. I asked them if they could fix up a vegetarian plate and they happily and competently obliged.

Kadi isn't new, but it is in a new location. Used to be located on Nicholas Bravo in Centro. Haven't been to Zihua since they moved so I don't know if it's as good as it was. It's a little on the expensive side but a great change of pace from traditional Zihua fare.
