Is there another place to get current fishing reports? The last Ed Kunze report is almost two years old and things might be a little different when I arrive next month. Anyone here know anything?

I'm heading home to Queretaro next Friday and then down to paradise on the 16th. I don't of any reports besides Ed's but am friends with the Dos Hermanos crew along with Sportfishing Wahoo and follow them on Facebook to see what they have been getting into. The first link is for Adolfo and he posts daily of the trips he takes out https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100004889237285 . The 2nd is of Alejandro who with his father Cheva on the Dos Hermanos II https://www.facebook.com/alejandro.ruizlara.9 and last is the Wahoo page https://www.facebook.com/wahooixtapa. hope that helps a bit and I know th Roosters are doing their thing, mahi and billfish around as well and with the rains should pick up even more if some debris gets washed out. I do play golf but am a golf course superintendent in the USA right now and my clubs are here. I've worked at the Best aka Augusta National, Palmetto Golf Club (1892) and renovated it with Gil Hanse, The Reserve Club at Woodside (with Jack Nicklaus), Hollow Creek at The Reserve Club with (Fuzzy Zoeller) and a few other places. So usually to busy to play a lot of the time here as work is nonstop either building or renovating and why I fish when I come to ZIH. Never seen the courses there except from the road. As a Class "A" supt here in the USA I just call another superintendent and golf is free for me and my guys. Not sure those courses would allow that but one day will be there for good and try to play more. Semper!!

And let me know I'll be there next Monday the 16th and fishing with the Dos Hermanos crew the 17,18 and 19th. My Marine brothers had a change of plans so it's just me going out.

As to the two courses in Ixtapa, the Marina course is a disaster. Wish it would get sold or foreclosed upon. Palma Real has a nice Robert Trent Jones design that fell into disrepair under Fonatur ownership. It was sold to a wealthy supporter of AMLO. They have made it much better in the last year. Hope they have continued to improve it over the summer.
