Shark Attack Kills Man

A little before 9:00 a.m. this Thursday morning, a 76-year-old man swimming at Playa Quieta, guest of a nearby hotel, was bitten by a shark. The man died on the beach before paramedics could arrive. The municipal government says its tests conclude the man was bitten by a crocodile. They say nothing about the obvious shark bites on the leg of the woman, nor do they address the accounts of eyewitnesses, locals and visitors, who also say they saw a shark. I'll reserve my skepticism of the government for apparently finding what it wanted to.
