Morelia to Zih

Hello!
Has anybody driven that route in the past month or so? What to expect? Is there construction happening? Approx how much time?

Drove there today - 4.5 hours- roads are in rough shape, watch for potholes but no congestion or construction on Sunday

Thanks, Shelby. We are planning on doing the drive on Wednesday, but from Patzcuaro instead of Morelia. We don’t want the traffic of Morelia.

We drove from Pátzcuaro to Zihuatanejo. The roads are in reasonable shape. There is a ~20km undergoing repairs, so slower. There was traffic, mainly on the casetas de cobro. And we saw an awful accident involving a trailer where the road was reduced to one lane. Happy to be here.
