How's the fishing been?
I'm supposed to go fishing with my old Zihua Neighbor this weekend.
He's a local but has been too busy to go fishing. Him and I have been trying to get together for a trip for about 4 years.
So... What do you say? What has been getting caught lately?

This is a very small sample. Went fishing earlier this week. left at 8:30 and came back in at 1:30. Five of us and a captain. We caught and released a sailfish, probably around 70 lbs. No mahi, no snapper, but at least we didn't get skunked. Saw dolphins swimming along side the boat, a sea turtle and a whale, so not all bad. Also, the cost of going fishing is now competitive with golf now that those rates have doubled.

Fishing has been VERY slow for this time of year. I took two blanks until Wednesday. Fished south not out of ZIH.
We caught two Sails, a Mahi and 3 Yellow fin tuna.
Some boats that day took blanks too.
Good Luck!

Blackfin Tuna (atún de aleta negra) only live in the Atlantic and Caribbean.
If it looked like either one of these then it was a barrilete.
