We've had a slight increase in weekend visitors, and the roads and beaches were a little busier today than they've been so far during the week. Good for the beachfront restaurants at Las Gatas, La Isla, Playa Linda, Barra de Potosí and others.

Visitors continue getting their money's worth with our absolutely picture-postcard-perfect weather. Bright sunny skies all day long. The water calm and perfect for swimming. A light breeze that feels especially good while sitting outdoors in the shade with a cool refreshment enjoying the fantastic view of the ocean. Maybe spot a whale breaching. There's a reason the word "paradise" so easily comes to mind when thinking about Zihuatanejo.

El Refugio de Potosí is a center for wildlife conservation and environmental education. Among its attractions, it features a fully reconstructed sperm whale skeleton (the only one in Mexico), an observation tower, a wheelchair accessible footpath for observing local flora and fauna, and a butterfly pavilion. Located near the beach on the road to Barra de Potosí. Perfect for the entire family.
