We awoke to cloudy skies this morning, and though the sun peeked out a few times, it got cloudier as the day went on and looked like it was going to rain, though it never did in downtown Zihuatanejo. The humidity was noticeably higher, and the evening feels much warmer than previous days. Friday night wasn't as cool as previous nights, at least not in the downtown area. We seem to have some kind of front stuck over us, but there's no cooler weather on the other side of it for us like there's been for folks up north. Just more of the same absolutely perfect weather and comfortable temperatures. Love it! Love it! Love it! We are extremely fortunate.

Not many tourists showed up this weekend from the inland cities. But more and more foreigners from the States and Canada continue arriving. Very good news for local restaurants and merchants. The ones I've seen certainly appear to be enjoying themselves. I hope they're sending photos back to their friends and family so they'll want to come vacation here, too!

Be sure to keep an eye out for whales while you're on the beach. They are here and their numbers appear to be good. You should be able to hear them just by putting your head underwater in the ocean.

Two very nice one-bedroom condos on the hill at La Madera Beach that can be rented separately or combined into one large suite to sleep up to six. One condo faces the bay, the other overlooks downtown and mountains.
